Hello My Name Is Nelson And I Am From Canada

My name is Nelson and I am new here. I collect canadian stamps. My first language is french so my english isn't perfect.

I started collect stamp back in the 80's when at my school back then during the christmas holyday the school presented the movie : les aventurier du timbre perdu in french and stamps traveler I think in english. I remember back then I was approximatly 7 years old and when I see the bluenose (158) the first time I say wow in my mind ! Back then in a small city like mine finding a bluenose for a little kid with little budget wasn t a easy task. Like many of us I took a brake of stamps collecting and I returned in the hobby in 2005 in my spare time not as a full time hobby but now since couple years I collect as my first hobby.

Now I have 2 sons. And I have fun collect with my sons and listen with my sons the same movie who introduced me in the 80's to the hobby.
