I thought I would post a link to this rare stamp on ebay. Not saying it is nice or worth buying or for everybody. Some people just like to fill spaces. It looks to be identified correctly based on the poor image... I have bought a couple of them on ebay so I know what they look like.

Honestly, I wasn't thinking about how your own listings get advertised when you start a thread but as you can see, I have one of my own for sale :)

Sinclair, you have a great eye. Not being a plater, I always look for the characteristic double transfer on the right side for 99R2. With this poor image I don't think I would have noticed any double transfer. Did you use plating or were you able to see a double transfer at right?

I can maybe see it now, but only because you say it is a real 99R2.

It looks very likely to be legit to me. You can just make out the double transfer, and the bottom line break is quite distinctive in its size and shape. Also the bottom right ornament completeness/lack thereof.

I like the 'post haste' on the strip of 3 cover. That usage I'm sure is unique for a 99R2 cover.

rhett, I honestly would have blown right past it without even opening the listing if it didn't have 99R2 in the title of the listing. Confirming a position when it is given is usually pretty easy. "Childs play" as Deep Cert would say :)
