I haven't been able to identify any place where a German stamp would have been canceled with "Bollo..." or "Bolld..." in 1927.
Can anyone help me? Thanks, in advance.

Could it be a receiving cancel and the only cancel on the stamp...no originating cancel?

We still have the same problem though if it's a receiving cancel.

It looks to me to be a regular German postmark but I don't see any entries like this in StampsX.com

I also can't find a placename like this in Germany (or in Poland or Russia for that matter) in http://geonames.nga.mil/namesgaz/

For whatever it's worth, if you look at the first O and the letter after the double L that one is something else than an O. It looks much narrower in the scan.

I think that letter might be a D, but I can't find anything that starts "Bolld..."

It is a German cancel. So, the only possibility I can come up with to fit the shape of that 2nd rounded letter is Bollgehnen in East Prussia.

Bollgehnen is now Gorlovka, Russia.
