I'm looking at my 769 Trans-Mississippi Souvenir Sheet which is a pane of 6 stamps. Could someone enlighten me on what a block of 4 with crossed gutters is. Sounds confusing but its probably simple after knowing.
Thank you for your time it is surely appreciated

The gutters occur on the Farley reprints, and they begin here;
