I do not see any listing for an imperf pair on a #63 so I am thinking this is maybe a partial imprint on margin?? Opinions please as I am not really sure what this is.

You have what is called a straddle margin copy. Yourstamp is from the right pane of a sheet of 200. When the two panes were cut apart, it was cut too far to the left and included a small portion of the stamp from the left pane.

You have a very nice stamp. Enjoy.

Thanks very much wtcrowe, that seems very logical. So basically this 63 is just considered as used with very wide margins?

One this nice is collectible. The straddle stamps are typically cut into on the perforated vertical side. I used to collect straddles showing the arrow at top or bottom which was used to line up the separator. Unfortunately, well centered straddle stamps are disappearing and becoming well centered jumbos, perforated on all for sides.

Here's couple more straddle pane copies for you to enjoy:

While not as nicely centered as your example, this example shows the guideline at right.

This Scott 78 shows part of the stamp on the right side.

Again, you see the left edge of the adjacent stamp on the right of this straddle pane stamp.

Here's another example of the arrow, similar to the one cfrphoto showed. This is on Scott 215.
