The first is described as having square corners, and the second as having round ones. However, on all the images I've seen the two appear identical. Can anyone show me the difference between the two, please ?
These are American flag coils, dated 2001.

The perforations are different. Note the rounded corners on 1550A and the larger background paper.

Sleepy, how about editing the header? If you have trouble with that, just send a note to Staff.
After you change the header, look again at the stamps. Where the perforation ends and goes into a straight part is where the difference is. One angle is abrupt and the other is rounded. If you still have a problem with it, Google the stamp ( use Scott 3550 and Scott 3550A ) and go to the Bardo website - he has great pictures listed,

Thanks. I fixed the header and now I'll go to the Bardo website 'cause I still don't see the rounded corners, but I see the difference in the background paper and that helps.

Sleepy, the difference is only there on the coil stamps. No need to look on the sheet stamps.

Bardo's great ! The difference is really apparent there 'cause the images are large.
Many thanks, everyone.....
