Hello everyone,

I have no experience with stamps, and need a bit of help to figure out what exactly I have and to put a value on all of it. Here is a link to a gallery where I uploaded the images. I apologize if this is not allowed on the forum:

Thanks in advance for your help

The loose stamps appear to be all modern mint United States stamps. Unfortunately, they are really not worth more than face and dealers will pay much less than face value. The books some came in are common. The first day covers are Postal Commemorative Society subscription type that are addressed. Again there's not much value in them - the original buyer paid much more than what they are worth now. We usually find much of these types of covers in the $1 box at shows and in bulk they auction even less - 10 cents a cover or so. Hope that helps some.

A lot of these you can look up on ebay, I went to the United States category and searched for "the best of the decade" and found this;

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_od...e&_sacat=261

Using the left hand column I looked at the "sold" items to get a real value.

I'm not into FDCs but they are usually worth 25c apiece of less for modern stuff.

I'd say the everything together is worth about $100 - $200. Hope this helps.
