A beautiful paradise bird-wing butterfly shares the minisheet with colorful umbrellas for the Bangkok philatelic exhibition of 1993. Maybe this huge butterfly was chosen because the first description of it was published by Otto Staudinger just 100 years earlier.  A lovely picture for the last day of the year! |
