Is there anybody's experience and advice?
I own a certain amount of postal stamps from several countries. Since I decided to collect only US postage stamps, I decided to sell the other countries.

Which version is more profitable?

- thematic postal stamps such as flowers, cars, cats, dogs, aircraft of various kinds, postal stamps related to railway vehicles etc from different countries.
- strictly sell postal stamps per series for a particular country.
- strictly sell postal stamps individually for a particular country.

I have the next amount of postal stamps (by countries).

I'm sure you'll get some good advice from our members.

Just remember that you can NOT sell them here and our members won't discuss selling with you until you have 50 quality posts.

Good luck,
KirkS

Put them on a table and photograph them . Then put them on ebay and try to get 3 cent each for them by selling them 100 or 200 at a time .

Thank you both for the answer.

@kirks
I do not intend to sell here if I do not have 50 posts. I will probably go to ebay?

@floortrader
Do you mean 3 cents for one postage stamp or 3 cents for 100 or 200 postage stamps?

The basics of my question is what option is more profitable? (thematic or individual sales). Of course, if someone has experience.
Best regards

The answer depends on the stamps you have. It looks like you have 4000 - 5000 stamps, 4000 common stamps are worth about 1c each, however better stamps sell for more. We need a picture of some of your stamps before we can give you solid advise.

You could try looking up the exact same stamps on ebay or HipStamp.com to see what other sellers are doing, which will also give you an idea what the asking prices are. On ebay, there is a 'sold' option on the left side of pages which will also provide you with prices realized. If you find your stamps are of low value, selling them in groups by topic as has been suggested is probably your best method. HipStamp fees for sellers are lower than those on ebay and although HS is a relatively new site, traffic there is picking up rapidly. Good luck.
