So... were these done intentionally or are they random pen marks that we are giving form.

Caper, yours looks like it had an original pen cancel (darker lines) and the face was added by a different pen.

I can't figure the how and why's but it piqued my curiosity enough to pick it up. How about yours stampcrow? I have to agree with kingfukittay - it takes quite an imagination to see what you saw in it. But, why not?

Maybe the quill pen was running out of ink on Caper's stamp. That might be the reason it is lighter in parts. This looks like intentional graffiti, with one line roughly conforming to the face profile.
