The attached stamp has the yellow star in the wrong place in the flag on the stamp. Should have been in the red strip but present in the green strip.

Allegedly the stamp has been withdrawn and a corrected stamp re-issued. The Michel catalogue only mentions both versions but no more background information offered.

Anyone can provide any more detail ?
