Reprints and many forgeries exist. Have you confirmed this to be genuine? A hi-resolution scan would be helpful. Note the incredible 3 volume set by Larry Lyons: "Identifier for Carriers, Locals, Fakes, Forgeries and Bogus Local Posts of the United States"
Before posting it here I went through Scott R. Trepel's "Wells, Fargo & Company 1986 Pony Express Issues'. This seems to be a genuine example. Anyway, I am going to send it for certification once somebody is interested in buying it. I will post a high resolution scan a bit later.
