I agree that hobbyists should do whatever they want. But the original poster stated he was interested in advice for collaboration of large amounts of stamp data. As such, personal desktop apps are not the best solution for reasons that are well known by any DBA or IT person. Are we talking about personal desktop advice and solutions or collaborative advice and solutions? Don
Again you are correct. As a retired old man trying to get my head around my deceased old dads large collection I need help, collaboration and advice from anyone willing to take the time. I just had a quick look at the web page you gave me. I must say I am impressed. I could ask questions but I don't want to bore you. Can I edit these pages? I have over 20,000 items in my France sheet, without images. I have about 3,000 French stamps to catalog. Now what?
Sorry it's been a while, I have been messing with a US site called Airtable. No links here so go find it and look at the universe page. Search for stamps and my UK input should be there. Stampdex will bring up the US page.
I've been playing with Airtable on iOS and it shows great promise. I'm going to start a new topic now about Airtable with some screenshots if you want to check the latest forum posts soon.
Hello! I know this is an old topic but relevant to what I am looking for. My son and I started to collect Irish stamps (1922 to 1970) and wondered if someone had the spreadsheet in Numbers (or Excel) we can get? Looking forward to someone still checking this site. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Kevin
