Hi all,

Todays stamp is about Golden-shouldered parrot.
It lives in Australia and it eats small grass seeds.

This stamp shows a Pelican.
It is a large bird that can swim and fly.
It eats fish.

For some reason (my brain chemicals or lack thereof) I really like those Chile stamps, their designs and colours. And there is not even one hexagon anywhere to be seen!

This stamp is about the Brolga bird.
It is a beautiful bird and It is the official bird emblem of the state of Queensland, Australia.

This bird has a very nice name.
It is called Princess Parrot.

Wikipedia explains why they called it this name;

[Its name was given in honour of Princess Alexandra of Denmark, who later married the Prince of Wales Edward VII and eventually became the Queen of England. Other names for the species include: Queen Alexandra Parrot (or Parakeet), Alexandra's Parakeet, Princess of Wales Parakeet, Rose-throated Parakeet, and Spinifex Parrot.]

It eats fish and live in the Atlantic ocean.
