The first two look like Scott B1. 1922 Semi postal stamps

Renden, the first two are the same stamp, October 1921 Famine Relief, SG26. They come in a number of shades of blue.

The second is a bogus issue, but I don't have any printing information. There is a set of 6 of these stamps.

Hi Rene,

These were printed in Italy without authority simply to make money from collectors.

These were then forged by someone else, again to make money from collectors.

Yours is one of the original stamps.

I will keep them with the rest of the collection but not inventoried since no Cat # They were given to me by a good friend in W Australia.

Here is the full set of six...this is an old scan I put up here in 2010, and as I noted in that thread, my scanner was converting everything to grey-scale images that day...



(The collector who wrote up that page had the year wrong, apparently.)

bogus = fake, faked, spurious, false, fraudulent, sham, deceptive, misleading, pretended; (Philatelically perhaps "Cinderella")
