Knoxpex 2018 – KnoXVIlle, TN

KnoxPEx 2018 – US Air Mail Centennial – Knoxville, TN

The Knoxville Philatelic Society will host KnoxPEx 2018, celebrating the centennial of United States Air Mail, on March 3-4 at the Holiday Inn Knoxville-West, 9134 Executive Park Dr., 37923. Show hours are Saturday 10 a.m.–5 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

The show will feature:
• 13 dealers
• 10 frames of exhibits
• beginner activities
• A live auction Saturday at 6 p.m.
• Cachet and pictorial postal cancel.

David Coogle, representing show sponsor Daniel F. Kelleher Stamp Auctions, will present public seminars Saturday on "Selling a Stamp Collection." Former APS President, Randy Neil will talk about "Six Gems of Confederate Philately That Didn't Cost an Arm and a Leg."

I know nothing about Confederate stamps but would be interesting to hear Randy Neil talk.

Me too, Al. I would like to go, but probably won't. Knoxville is about a 3 hour drive for me.

Plus, I'm on the other side of the Smokies and it will probably snow in early March
