It would probably be a good idea to break the cards up into subjects or themes. For example, I'm interested in people and places, whereas I simply switch off when faced with greeting cards etc. |

this next album is a little heavier on people and places, and I will also focus more on the postmarks.. |

everything is from my grandfather. he had three children and most of what I have is my dads share of all his coins, stamps, postcards, paper ephemera, and some other random "collectibles". im really not sure if there was much focus even on type of collectible, let alone type of postcard. I can definitely say for postcards there is a heavy concentration on kentucky and surrounding states. beyond that it is all over the place. |

terrible glare. I think the rest after these I've got that issue taken care of.. anyway I really like this album much better the six slot pages are awesome and he only put one card per slot. probably because these were some of the better cancels. altogether taking the pictures only took me like 15 minutes and I only had to pull one card to see its back. I dont have too much to say about this album other than I really love the exposition cancels for jamestown and the panama pacific. so I will only put up the rest of the pictures if people really want to see them without too much further explanation/feelings/thoughts from me. |

Noticed a couple of RPO's in the last group. The reason I ask you to write something is to get you up to 50 posts, 19 more! Likening the six pocket pages? |

The seashell souvenir cards are a nice re-imagining of an old practice, eg, to bring back a seashell (or two) from a trip to the beach.
Cheers,

i actually do like this six pocket album much better, but really only because he only put one card in each slot. so all I had to do to look at the cancels is turn the page. no removing of cards needed. |
