I'm getting to like this Engraved issue from 1913. 4 plates were used, and a total of 2,295,450 stamps were issued. An ebay seller apparently had a large section from Plate 4 and decided to break it up into smaller pieces. Luckily, I saw this piece, and, after a short bidding war, won it and it just arrived.

Just beautiful. Mint, Never Hinged. Very good centering, and a combination pair. ACSC lists this item as 59(4)g and 59(4)h (locations 22 and 23 respectively). The left stamp has a pronounced re-entry down the entire right side, going in as far as the oval near the back of the King's head. The right hand stamp is less apparent, with a stated re-entry to the top right corner.

Both stamps:

Thanks. I actually have two copies of 59(4)h, but the above one is the better version.

Here is another example showing the "Dash under E of One". It is ACSC 59(2)u. A little tattered, but the area of interest is nice and clear.

That's a beautiful pair, and that 59(4)g is a very impressive re-entry, which your copy shows really well.

Thanks for the comments. Ralph at re-entries.com says that he will (eventually) post it.

Now, to find another one ...

I just received another pair from the same set. This one is still from Plate 4 and identified in ACSC as 59(4)n and 59(4)p. It was easier to locate due to the selvage.

The top stamp, 59(4)n, is described as "Recut to top of crown and top frame". A little difficult to see, but here it is.

The lower stamp, 59(4)p, is described as "Re-entry to top right corner". It is easy to see some of the duplicated lines.

The search continues ... Enjoy!

I love this sort of stuff, much more fun and easier to see unlike a lot of retouches, thanks for sharing and continue the search!
