I am starting to feel overwhelmed. Selling the high value columbians on ebay was a piece of cake as they are sought after by collectors everywhere. Now as I move in to the "everything else" category of my inherited accumulation of stamps, postcards, and postal history I just dont have any clue where to begin. I have been enjoying very much all I have been learning about the hobby, but the truth is I am not a collector and my primary goal is liquidating what I have. However, I am not interested in selling all in a lot, or even several lots. I may be persuaded to sell some things together, but again im just not sure where I should start. Any guidance or suggestions greatly appreciated!

I collect postcards in a desultory sort of way. The postcards you've shown may appeal to two broad groups of people: those interested in cards, and those interested in stamps/postmarks. These two groups may coincide.

Looking at people who collect cards, most are likely to do so by type or theme - real photographic, comic, beauties, trains etc etc. One day of getting rid of your cards would be to make up lots of these or similar categories. In general, cards are only worth selling individually if they have some particular individual value - the great majority don't, of course. And that also makes it much easier for you. If you want to find out more about cards, it's worth working through the excellent Metrocard site
