There are a number of resources available online for the philately of Mandatory Palestine, including what appear to be comprehensive lists of the post offices. However, I cannot find information about either of these. Can anyone help identify them?

(1) (BE?)THANYA

(2) NABLAS?

Thanks for looking!

Jimjamtwo, there is a place called Nethanya some twenty kilometers north of Tel Aviv.
Working on Nablas; Only town with those letters I can find is Nablus. But the cancel does read Nablas?

Thanks, Peter. There is an office called Netanya, so that would presumably be a variant spelling.

Here's the list:

Regarding the second strike, I see NAHLA or NABLA and possibly an S after that. But there's nothing on this list like that, except NABLUS but it's clearly an A not a U. Perhaps it's another variant spelling?

Hi Jimjamtwo,

I'd say it's Haifa - Nahla branch office. Number 54 on the list in your link.
