Good morning. I've never looked at stamp collecting. But, a large pile recently showed up from a thrift store purchase. They are all cancelled and look like late 1940s to early 1960s. All are US with very few exceptions.
Is there any value in anything like this or would they just be cool old stamps?
Thanks for the welcome and advice. I didn't figure they were of much value, just want to make sure. They sure made a lot of different designs back in those days!
They may be of little monetary value, but to collectors the value is in the appearance and novelty. The fun of putting a new stamp into one's album is the value enjoyed. Welcome and enjoy !
