Hello guys : Are this folded stamp , that I found recently in a bag ,with the seal over it , worth anything ,or is just a waste of time to ask for ? Thanks a lot for your opinions !
Part of the stamp was folded over probably as it passed through postal sorting machinery. It was canceled after it was bent over. Technically, the stamp is damaged as it is creased and worth less.
No, it does not have much financial value. But collecting value and financial value are two very different things. This certainly has collecting value as an oddity.
Someone that was doing a collection of "things that happen to stamps during the mailing process" or something similar might find it worth collecting but generally it is not worth anything.
