It looks like a fantasy production depicting Bao Dai.In no way
an official stamp of French Indochina. In terms of pre 1945 stamps
of Indochina;he can be found on issues of 1936 and 1943.
Now is it an authentic fantasy stamp from 1945?

Right time for the fantasy, from the short period when he was ruling as a Japanese puppet after the Japanese disposed of the Vichy administration. Listing doesn't seem to offer any details.

There is another block with Empress Nam Phuong ,Bao Dai's wife.
These stamps were aparently copied from photos of the time.
Note the Chinese lettering.
The wording is similar to the Bao Dai stamp,so I would not be
surprised if they came from the same source. But who ?

The mystery has been solved. These stamps date from the short lived
Empire of Vietnam.March - August 1945.They were never issued.
So yes it is a real non issued block with a bogus cancel.
The ebay listing is way overpriced and a rip-off..
