I'm trying to see the triple transfer in a stamp that was presented to me as a U.S. Scott # 11A 92L2L triple transfer.

I can see what looks like a double transfer in the area around "cents". Can someone please help me see the third transfer.

Your stamp cannot be 92L2L. There is a stamp below it, and 92L2L is a bottom-row stamp. Also, I don't see the doubling of the bottom 2 rosettes in yours ...

Definitely not 92L2L. The image is quite small and the impression of the stamp is very poor. It looks like a double transfer from Plate 5L.

Alub, there are a couple of good photos on the stamp smarter website in the plating database of a 92L2L that is a triple transfer.
