These are my postal stamps from Libya.
I'm interested in these three postal stamps I'm not sure about. A yellow question mark is also indicated beside them.
Also interested in me, this circular postmark (marked with a red arrow), on which the year is written in the opposite direction from the date. Is this common?
I plan these stamps, exchanging for US postal stamps. But I have to find out more about them.

In the image below, you can see more pictures of sheets. I'm not sure, are these stamps? There are no perforations on these 'sheets'?
Are these 'sheets' related to philately?

Johnc, you might be able to find these on www.stampworld.com , like all the other stamps you are asking about.

The sheets are called miniature sheets - I believe that Americans call them "souvenir sheets. Libya issued a lot of these from the late-1970s onwards, as well as sheetlets - mulitple (usually four) copies of the same stamp with a border..

I have one question for all members of the forum.

Is there anyone here, who collects LIBYA postage stamps?
I would like to exchange these postage stamps for his duplicate US postal stamps.

Of course, without these three stamps, marked with a question mark.
(The second image in the topic above, has a error on the sheet).

I'd have described that as a star - it doesn't have the distinctive characteristics of a Star of David. I've always liked the pictures of Ghaddafi meeting Berlusconi whilst wearing a photograph of one of the Libyans killed by the Italians during the 1930s.

I have an additional question.
Is it really a error on the sheet "15th anniversary ...... 1984" above?
Some stamps are not in a vertical position.
Or is it normal printing?
Thanks in advance

There is no error. That's the way it is.Plus; it was a good idea
by the stamp designer to break the monotony. It is the famous
green book. The book at angles can be found in some other issues.

Very interesting website.
I found some of my Libya stamps there.
Very interesting, they collect postal stamps that show books.
Thanks for the links.
Best regards
