I suppose that these are 'Cinderella' stamps. But I do not know which country was printing them? Does anybody know?

Hi Ivan. These are labels to be sticked to album pages to identify the country or to the spine of an album for you to know which country stamps are collected in it. It's also possible that they were aimed to be placed in a plàstic pocket that some albums have on the spine. Origin? Any English speaking country (as they're written on that Language) and, I guess, printed between 1970 and 1990. |

Hi @Cursus Oh, I did not even know that there were such elements in the philatelic. Since I do not collect different states, they do not need me. I'll arrange them in a group with other postal stamps and exchange for US stamps. Thanks for information. Best regards |

These are certainly nicer than the other modern country labels you typically see on ebay. As with just about everything philatelic, the really old ones are more interesting and more collectible. |

Brings back memories - I remember getting these when I got my first stamp album as a kid. There was a space on the top of each page where you would lick the stamp for that country, and put it in the space. Kind of like sticker books for kids today.
Even then I was such a geography geek!!!

My old Traveler's Stamp Album kit came with 2 sets of similar stickers. One set was the flags of all counties covered within the album. The other set of stickers were the coats of arms for these counties. The stickers shown by the OP are coats of arms probably meant for stamp albums. |

OK guys Thank you for yours information and participation in the topic. If anyone wants these stickers, I'll exchange them for some of his duplicates US not canceled stamps. I'll give it to anyone who wants it, these stickers send them in unregistered letter. (small expense) When he receives a letter, then he can decide which his duplicate US stamps want to send to me (also in unregistered letter). Best regards |
