Hi Rod I don't know if this is of any use or something you've already tracked down https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/..._SwitzerlandI was looking for information about a load of these stamps from various cantons that came in a box lot I won in an auction some time ago and was just getting round to sorting out. If you scroll down past a very long list of sections there are loads of useful images and ID's Crispin |

It's interesting to see a Bern canton stamp cancelled in a town that's now in the new Canton of Jura.

Nice collection of Swiss officials FT. I have been working on mine for months. The 1938 Sc O1-O16 are hard to fill in. Many times I have seen them go for multiples of CV. In addition the 1918 Sc 1O1-1O16 are particularly difficult especially for used examples. Scott mentions fraudulent cancels on theses which makes them even more of a problem. I got lucky and received a used #1O3 (7-1/2c gray) in a collection lot I bought a couple years ago. If you have any extra O1-O16, I'd be a serious player. Thanks! Wolf-==- |
