Wolf --Most of my stuff goes back to the Stamp Auction firm .

My method is to buy clean and neat set of internationals at auction then fill them with stamps for two or three years . Then I match that set to my personnel collection moving stamps I need into my main collection .This picked over set of Internationals gets consign to a stamp auction .I found this method to be the best for me with the highest return on the resale .

Floor, that's a truly beautiful display of uncommon stamps. Very neat indeed.

Thanks Blaamand .

One item I should method about the Officials and Francise stamps . Forgeries are common with these but they are easy to detect. First the two types of forgeries that are common are with the overprint is the wrong size and the other on the early issues were the used stamps are much higher value is that the stamps used to make the fake overprint are from the wrong city or town . All used cancels are from the same office and not from other cities .So the cancel should be the same . It is easy to buy used Swiss stamps in bulk and start overprinting them but you run into the various cancelations .

Rod, I believe it comes off of a "bill of lading" - sort of a revenue stamp
