The Poisoned Well (Zatruta Studnia), by the Polish painter Jacek Malczewski (1854–1929), designed by Jerzy Desselberger, engraved by Barbara Kowalska, issued by Poland on August 25, 1962 to publicize the FIP International Philatelic Federation Day.

The Poisoned Well (Zatruta studnia), painted in 1906 by Polish Symbolist artist Jacek Malczewski (1854–1929), belongs to a series of five paintings exploring themes of suffering, longing, hope, and Polish national identity. The painting depicts a young girl seated beside a wooden well, braiding her hair in a quiet rural landscape. The poisoned well symbolizes the suffering and oppression of the Polish people during the period when Poland was partitioned among neighboring powers. The young girl, however, represents hope for a better future and the eventual rebirth of the Polish nation.

Issued with a tab with inscription: "Philately brings people of all countries closer together".
