Hi Rene,

These are from a 1939 issue from the Spanish Post Offices in Tangier.

Thanks nigelc. Scott is not very helpful except for its little square in Tanger (Spanish Morocco section) that talks about overprints of 1937-39. I will have to consult some other catalogue,Edifil being #1 - I think.

p.s. Looking in Spania Edifil, in Tanger section appears these 1939 Sellos de Espana overprint TANGER, # 114 5c brown (castano) which corresponds to Espana # 745, and overprint # 119, red (rojo) corresponding to Espana # 750

Renden.
These are listed in SG Stamps of the world, under Spanish post offices in Tangiers. 1939 SG 89 and 94.

The Unoverprinted stamps are 1933 SG 773 and 778.

Thanks dynamode for your info. I simply did my research from Scott to Spania Edifil, the Spain catalogue. I do not own SG.

No problem. I am currently not getting emails from posts I am subscribed to. So have to check each post individually. Think I will go back to lurking, something very wrong going on.
