There's a seller in the US, that some of you may know, that specialises in British Empire stamps, but has no online payment system. He accepts Western Union.
Does anyone use WU, and have any positives or negatives?
Back in the pre-PayPal days I used their services quite regularly and apart from the fee which seemed high at times I had no complaints. It is still extensively used by foreign workers that do not use computers
I would be wary of using it only because you don't have the protection that is provided by PayPal. If the shipment is lost or never sent, you have already paid for it.
I would have to trust the seller and ask for Certified mail shipment so at least you have some sort of comfort during transit.
