I was just paging through the site and was suddenly asked to take a survey. It was brief and, I thought, pointless. When done, I was offered a reward. I picked a flashlight that they claimed was worth $50. (None of the rewards had anything to do with stamps.) I was then asked for my address. OK. Than my credit card number??? That's when I quit.
Do you guys really run such a survey, or is this a scam to get cc numbers?
I would say it is a scam. If you get a "reward" and then you have to give your Credit Card number I wouldn't trust it. I'm glad you stopped when asked for your card number.
It might be helpful for the less computer-savvy folks to describe how one "runs a Malware scan". And, yes, don't take any surveys or give up any personal info, including numbers, for goodness' sake.
