Is the watermark the only difference? But I would imagine some of the 278 may have watermark missing (misplaced). How can I be sure?

The watermark can be seriously displaced but it is large enough to have discernable parts of nearby watermarks showing. The problem stamp is the 50c where it is hard to pick up a watermark against the orange color.

Yes - the watermark is the only difference.

There can be stamps where only a tiny portion of the watermark is visible & hard to spot - or blocked by the cancel.

These are scarce/pricey stamps. If you're not sure & want certainty, you should send it off for a certificate.

A picture (in fluid!) would be great!

The first two are in the fluid. The last one is normal.
