Good Afternoon,

I was hoping to get an extra set of eyes on this Victoria 4p stamp. To me it appears to be a double impression. Please let me know what you think - I don't have another on hand for comparison and there are experts here at Stamp Community that would know.

Also, I have another question that's plagued me...

If you have a double impression over the same area - isn't that a double impression and not a over inked stamp???

Thanks for the help

Double print. Note in SG part 1.
Numerous examples of double prints, also printed double, one albino varieties are found on the locally printed line engraved stamps of the Australian colonies. These are particularly prevalent in the stamps of South Australia and Tasmania. We no longer list such varieties.

No problem.

When I found this many years ago, I got very excited. Completely missed the note in SG, as it is just before the start of the NSW section. I spent endless hours on the net trying to find out about it.

Finally got the answer at the other place. I do not know how common they are, but I have not seen many for sale.
