You will not find misperforations anywhere except maybe in a very specialized catalog. In some cases a stamp like yours may already be listed on ebay, so check there for any value.
Are these stamps missing the die-cuts on the left side? This is a relatively new issue (2017), Scott 5181 (Work Pays America) & 5186 (Visit the Zoo). The entire 20-stamp booklet is 5189b (with 2 each of 5180 thru 5189). Possibly a new error?
This appears to me to be from a press sheet as you have the two booklet covers connected. In a normal booklet, these would have only appeared once in the booklet.
Check it against other examples of the press sheets and I think you'll find that the partial die cutting is a standard feature. Either that, or I've several partial die cut errors in my collection...
This piece actually contains parts of four booklets and would be termed a cross-gutter block (even though there are no wide gutters). The vertical and horizontal spaces where it appears the die cuts are missing would normally be straight cut when the press sheets are made into individual booklets.
Fredc, I initially missed the obvious (after all, hindsight is 20-20) fact that your stamps came from a press sheet. The die-cuts, as they appear on your stamps, are almost certainly normal for the press sheet.
