Heh. The rare scenario where stamps with straight edges are universally worth more than those without.
Even if the stamp in question ends up being reperfed, I'm not upset. It's a learning experience, and I paid far enough below market value that I won't be wounded too badly.

Regardless, it's for my collection anyway, not for resale. My heirs, whoever they may be, can deal with it after I've gone to the great beyond.
