Are the 2 stamps, different from the 5 in a row.

The two are from a booklet configuration. These are typically the major same catalog number and are referenced with a minor letter designation.

For example...
554 and 554c
or
634 and 634d

With preferite I guess you mean perforated? And no, they are all fairly common stamps.
