Here are two Spremberg (Niederlausitz) local issue stamps from the post-WWII Soviet Zone of occupation of Germany. The un-overprinted series of 8 values was issued on January 3, 1946 and "Wiederaufbau"/rebuilding overprint series of 4 semi-postals stamps was issued on February 25, 1946. Shown here are Michel #s 12 and 18.  |

Bosnia and Herzegovina (Croatia) Humac Tablet June 13, 2002 The stamp depicts Humac tablet (XII century), the oldest Cyrillic epigraph found in the country. Its text reads 'In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. This is the church of the Archangel Michael, built by Krsmir, the son of Bret, in the Parish of Urun, and his wife Pavica.'  |
