On January 4, 2006 Estonia issued this 6 kroon/.28 euros stamp to commemorate the 50th anniversary of EUROPA stamps. Stamp artwork shows the superimposed acronym/letters "CEPT" (Commission of European Posts and Telecommunications).  |

Here is a .50 euros stamp of German private courier Citipost which shows words rather than a pictorial image. Message says, "first to penny". Citipost, headquartered in Hannover, delivers mail and parcels and operates "copy shops".  |

This April 22, 2000 3.60 kroon "National Book Year" stamp (Sc #393) of Estonia commemorates the 475th anniversary of the first printed words in the Estonian language. The first book in Estonian is believed to be the Wanradt-Koell (Lutheran) Catechism printed in Wittenberg (Germany) in 1535.  |

From wikipedia, "The first Federal population census in Switzerland took place in 1850...Between 1860 and 2000, a census took place every ten years in December...The census in 2000 was the last to use traditional methods."  |
