There are two different issues of this stamp, Scott #O7 and #O19, that differ in their perforations 13 vs 14. Scott lists the color difference as pale red for O7 and vermillion for O19. I cannot tell from the photos what the perf count is for your stamps, but the cancellation dates would indicate the second stamp (1899) is an O19 and the first stamp (1885) might possibly be an O7, in which case pale red would be appropriate.
