I know their coverage of early issues is sparse. However, they now added an additional volume. Therefore, it is a 5 volume set. It is made in Canada by the Collectors Warehouse Supply or CWS. Anyone have any familiarity with the Olympian series? Thanks.

It's a rather basic album. For modern stamps, say post-1970, a new Olympian set has somewhat better coverage than the newest off-the-shelf Harris Citation set would, but worse coverage than an 1980s-vintage Harris Citation set that has been updated with the yearly supplements, and of course considerably worse coverage than Scott Internationals or Minkus Supreme Globals. For older stamps, Olympian is even worse than Harris albums (which are not that good to begin with).

The coverage of a set of Harris albums depends on when it was printed and whether it was supplemented -- for example, a new-in-1984 Citation has fewer spaces than a new-in-1980 Citation plus the 1981-1984 yearly supplements; these albums were rather aggressively edited each time they were updated to keep page count down. It might be the same for the Olympian (if it's an older album that was regularly supplemented, it's better than a newer edition of the same album) but I don't know that for sure.
