I have recently acquired a large number of commemoratives plate blocks that have all four corners of a sheet. Some have all four corners of multiple sheets. Some as many as six. Included is every commemorative from 922-1100. I have a couple of questions. Is it common to have all four corners of a sheet? Does it add any value? All are mint OG NH.
Some people collected match corner blocks. Plate blocks in general do not command much of a premium to a dealer since plate blocks are common. Realize there is a difference between dealer buy and sell price. Certain issues may be worth more.
I have come across two bottom right plate block corners with the same plate number. Scott # 1025. Back then were multiple sheets issued with the same plate block number?
Welcome. Yes, hundreds of thousands of sheets with the same plate number were often printed. These numbers were original meant to identify the printing plate, they were not meant to serialize the sheets. Don
