The guy wrote back asking "What year are they then?" I told him I don't claim to be an expert but my guess is 1895, Scott 267, value .50 used if not damaged, but worth less most likely if one checks completed items. Also referred him to this site for more info on stamps. Noticed he reduced his starting bid to .87.

Dry Tech, not only did he reduce the starting bid, he added this to the beginning of his description:

"Rare 1895-1899 ( possibility of a Scott #267 in the mix) or early 1900's mixed George Washington used stamps lot of 9 items
Different Conditions most are poor and some almost fair."
