OK - going on the recommendations, I'm going to post a series of world stamps and ask for i.d.
Some notes:
1. These are not necessarily rare or valuable - they're just from my unknowns stock book. 2. The stamps will be a mix of postage and posters - if a poster, what is it publicizing? 3. You'll see perfins and overprints. Need country plus significance of those. 4. Let me know if scan is OK
#1 - Orange free state. Annexed to the British crown in 1900 and renamed Orange river colony. In 1910 ORC, Transvaal, Natal, and cape of good hope formed the Union of South Africa.
#2 : postage due stamp from Kingdom of Serbs,Croats and Slovenes (which became Yugoslavia) #7 : postage due stamp from Austria #9 : East Saxony (Soviet occupation of Germany,1945)
