Fellows, I am hoping to learn a bit here. For some time now I have been collecting Polish (Free Poles London Issue) Souvenir Sheets and Labels.

Free Poles -who had been unable to return to Poland after WW2 had establish the vibrant communities in the west inc UK and Stamp Collectors did good job too

Especially labels are very interesting as they commemorate to various events / people closely related to Polish history.

My challenge is that I actually find hard to learn more about the Labels -as there does not seem to be a lot of literature that provides relevant info like nr/ designers /value etc.

Perhaps some of you can help or have same focus.
I will be posting some of my bits -hoping to learn more!

Hi pleagle,

I use the following catalogue by Adam Tutak:

This has very good illustrations of covers showing labels, cachets, special postmarks etc.

It identifies many of the designers.
