The Genuine characteristic can be seen even in examples with heavy inking.The Characteristics of the "c" are most important.Varieties of the "c" don't exist & any dealer or seller that thinks so believes in the myth of Varieties.This is common Theory concerning the first 4 surcharges. The Heavy Inked types can lead too errors in Identification. These stamps on Genuine covers are very rare.Mailed letters from Papeete were few in number.
