Good Afternoon,

I was wondering if someone could have a look and give their opinion on this U.S. 10c Revenue Stamp. Something went very wrong.

This is what a normal stamp should look like:

dot at left top corner is a layout position dot. vertical lines in left and right margins are layout lines. both are often seen on early printings of a plate. later impressions usually don't show the layout lines as they tended to wear faster. often the position dots will be covered by the final rocking in of the design. without a clearer scan I cannot tell if the circled threads are experimental silk threads or extraneous fibers from the paper making process. silk will appear tobe in the paper fibre, extraneous will appear to be on the surface.

They look like inking anomalies to me.

Very hard to see but there is the shadow of a circle and a line at top left of stamp. Very similar to circle and line at top left.
