Florex Orlando Stamp Show

Just received an email from the Florida Stamp Dealers Association that this year's FLOREX Orlando show (Nov 30 – Dec 2) will be moving to a new location, Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, about 25 miles south of the old location. Newer facility, nicer neighbourhood and close to the airport, Disney & SeaWorld.

When are they going to get an auction? It hasn't been worthwhile for me to attend since Michael Rogers closed.

I'm not on the show committee (just a boothholder) but will email your question to the Show Chairman. As a USA postal history specialist, I never found anything to bid on at Michael Rogers auctions and most of his bidders weren't looking for US material from the show dealers.

"Steve, the auction issue has been constantly on my plate -- with no luck. The issues that come up in regards to a major auction house doing an auction at the show are numerous, and complicated. I have tried. Ferg"
