Hi, I inherited a album with stamps. Most stamps are from Europa but two pages are from USA. I presume the users on this site is USA experts. Can you please take a quick look at the stamps and see if they are any good? Or is it just common stamps from the USA? Thanks for the replies. Since its just common stamps I will keep the album. Some of the stamps are loose, are there any special tricks to attach it to the album? Can I use papir glue or tape? Here is the album cover. It only says Schaubek.   |

Do not use repair glue or tape! Both ruin stamps. Use hinges or mounts. If you want to become a collector, do some reading and/or find a local stamp club to help you. The last two stamps, Scott 620 and 621 are nice. (Norse-American issue,, 1925. |

Nice album. Worth continuing. Use stamp hinges. Mounts for never hinged or better stamps. Definitely no glue or tape. |

Ok, just ordered some hinges from ebay. Maybe I try to complete the album :) What are the best shop to buy stamps, ebay? I presume it's only common stamps in the album so I don't have visit any auctions. |

Since you are new to hinging stamps, I would suggest that you spend a few moments reading about mounting hinges (use the search button above) Newer hinges sometimes stick too well, usually too much moisture, lightly moisten them. |
