Here is my take on the views set(s):
I recently started on the task of sorting out my Portugal, Colonies and related areas and found that the Scott catalog is, well, not very useful when it comes to these areas. In particular I've noticed that many of the early issues have multiple perforation sizes, but they are only noted by Scott. They don't go into any detail as to which stamps are found in which perforation size.
I guess that is where having some sort of reference beyond Scott. That was the case with these Mozambique Co. issues.
Scott lumps the whole series into 1 set and only notes that they are found in perf 12 1/2, 14 & 15. As a footnote they also state that there are shades of several denominations.
I was really only interested in figuring out the perforations and not so much interested in the shades.
Doing some googling I found this thread and my answer, thanks to GeoffHa.
It looks like SG catalog does a better job of splitting out this set, into both perforations AND shades. The "shades" Scott mentions appear to be different printings from different years, and not just shades.
I'm not familiar with the SG catalogs so it took me a bit to decipher the catalog page and sort my stamps according to he information.
Steiner, of course, follows the Scott listing so this was not going to suit me, and as has been noted the Steiner layout is a bit clunky, so I needed to come up with my own Steiner type page, using AlbumEasy.
What I was able to come up with, according to the SG listings, is 3 different sets, spaced out over 5 pages. I do like the way my arrangement came out better than Steiner, but may choose to redo it at a later date.
Something of note is that the SG catalog page has, for the first set (1918-24), 4 stamps listed with perf 15 variants.....6c, 7 1/2c, 30c and 50c.....none of which I had, which I thought was weird. Especially with the quantity of duplicates I seem to have. But, for that same set I came up with 4 OTHER issues in perf 15 that are not listed. Those being 1/4c, 1 1/2c, 2c, and 2 1/2c.
Anyway, here are my 5 pages for these 3 sets.
